Miller Trust Guide

Free tool

Embed our Medicaid income-cap calculator

A 60-second calculator that tells a visitor whether their income puts them over their state's Medicaid long-term-care cap — and whether a Miller Trust is the standard fix, if so. Free to place on an elder-law, senior-living, home-care, or caregiver-support site. No account, no fee, no visitor tracking. Just copy the code below.

60-second check

Do you even need a Miller Trust?

Most states use the same 2026 long-term-care Medicaid income cap ($2,982 single, $5,964 couple) — but a couple of states differ. Pick your state below for the exact figure, or check the general estimate.

Who is applying?

Not sure how to total income, or have an unusual situation? See the state guides or read what we do and don't help with. This check runs entirely in your browser — nothing you type is sent or saved. Informational, not legal advice.

Get the embed code

Paste this wherever your page templating allows raw HTML — a sidebar widget, a resource-page footer, a blog post. It loads lazily, so it won't slow down anything above it on the page.

Default size is 640px wide, 640px tall — narrow it, widen it, or adjust the height to fit your layout. The calculator centers itself at any width, and the page scrolls internally if a result needs more room than the height you set.

Or just share it

Don't run a site of your own to embed it on? Sharing this page works just as well.

Frequently asked questions

Is the calculator really free to embed?
Yes. No account, no license fee, no usage cap. Copy the embed code and place it on any page. The only condition is leaving the small "Calculator by Miller Trust Guide" attribution line intact — that link is how we keep offering it for free.
Will it slow down my page or track my visitors?
It is a single lazy-loaded iframe with no third-party scripts of its own, so it will not add tracking to your page. The calculator itself runs entirely in the visitor's browser and never sends what they type anywhere — the same privacy behavior as the calculator on our own site.
Can I change the size or style?
Adjust the width and height attributes (or the inline style) to fit your layout — a narrower sidebar or a wider full-column placement both work, since the calculator centers itself either way. The colors and attribution line are fixed so the tool reads consistently wherever it appears.
